Cheech & Chong were a comedy duo who found a wide audience in the 1970s and 1980s for their stand-up routines, which were based upon the era's hippie, free love and especially drug culture movements. The 90's scared the duo enough to break up and use separate dealers. Since then Cheech has become a one-hit wonder with the classy "Born in East L.A.". Meanwhile, Tommy and his son started a bong company named Chong Glass/Nice Dreams. This entrepreneur also landing some time in a federal prison for dealing the glass.
It was during this time that lack of drugs and free time sent Tommy to the yard to lift weights. Now clear headed, he realizes it was Cheech all along who took that roach that he can swear he left for the morning, yet oddly it was no longer in the ashtray. It's go time!
